Heartsaver First Aid: Be Prepared to Help in Any Emergency

• This flexible blended learning course is designed for individuals with limited or no medical training, and equips them with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergencies.

Essential first aid skills:

Medical Emergencies: How to respond to situations such as choking, heart attacks, and strokes. Injury Management: Techniques for handling bleeding, broken bones, and other injuries. Environmental Emergencies: Optional training on managing conditions like heatstroke and hypothermia.

• Convenient online learning (approx. 1.75 hours): Complete the informative modules at your own pace.
• Hands-On Skills Session: After completing the online portion, attend a hands-on skills session with a certified AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor (45-90 minutes) to practice and demonstrate your proficiency.

Certification: Upon successful completion of both the online and hands-on components, you will receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.
