This blended learning First Aid Skills Testing Session is designed to evaluate and validate the hands-on skills of participants who have completed the online component of their blended learning First Aid training. The session provides a comprehensive, practical review of essential First Aid techniques, ensuring participants are competent and confident in their ability to respond to emergencies.

Course Objectives:

• Assess participants' proficiency in key First Aid skills, including CPR, wound care, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Provide hands-on practice and real-time feedback from certified instructors.
• Ensure participants can apply First Aid techniques effectively in various emergency scenarios.
• Confirm participants' readiness to act in real-life emergency situations through practical evaluation.

Key Components:

• Practical Assessments: Each participant will demonstrate their skills in controlled, simulated scenarios, reflecting real-world emergencies.
• Instructor Feedback: Certified First Aid instructors will provide personalized feedback, guiding participants to correct and perfect their techniques.
• Skill Stations: Interactive stations covering vital First Aid skills such as CPR, AED use, choking relief, bleeding control, and more.
• Final Competency Evaluation: Participants will undergo a final assessment to confirm their competency in performing First Aid techniques accurately and confidently.

Prerequisites:

• Completion of the online component of the blended learning First Aid training course (proof of completion required).
• Basic understanding of First Aid principles and techniques.

Target Audience: This session is ideal for individuals who have completed the online theoretical First Aid training and need to demonstrate their practical skills. This includes workplace first aiders, community volunteers, teachers, coaches, and anyone seeking certification in First Aid.

Certification: Participants who successfully demonstrate their skills will receive a certification of competency, valid for two years.
